I've been doing a little tidying up of my photos on flickr and realised that its my third anniversary of having my plot this August. I received the keys in July but as we were going away on holiday it was August before i first managed to get down there armed with a strimmer to strim down the couch grass ready for digging the roots out.. I remember thinking it would only take a couple of months to turn over the front.. I was still turning it over and removing the roots the following August..lol

How fabulous, its amazing what we can grow isn't it. I'd much rather try to keep fit digging the plot for half an hour than in a sweaty gym. And you have the triumph of home grown veg afterwards.
